The control knobs are a big problem. They are cheaply made and strip very easily. I have ordered 6 of these as replacements and they are around $15 each. 4 stars because the cooking is great.

I purchased this grill one year ago. I'm still trying to figure out the best way to cook on it. With only one burner on the LOWEST heat setting, it registers 225°. With all four burners on the highest setting, it will reach in excess of 650°. Of course, I only grill with indirect heat unless I'm searing. Nonetheless, it is still challenging to get the correct combination. Overall, it is a great grill. You just have to get used to the heat settings.
so some of the instructions they give are a bit vague like I had to do a bit of Googling for the starbolts for the sliding shelves those seem like they could be replaced with something less crappy even just little metal clips like you see on a trailer would probably work better than those those little plastic bolts are not friendly other than that I just wish there was more words in the belt it was very much just kind of diagrams I think someone talking more would be

The BBQ is performing perfectly. Love the ease of lighting and the even cook temp across the grill surface
This grill has exceeded my expectations all the way around.

A decent grill that required modest assembly. Aside from there being multiple dents in the support panels on the bottom, I was impressed by the assembly instructions and overall packaging. It fired up and worked just fine for the price point. The temperature gauge was broken off in shipping and I have requested a replacement part under warranty. While a part was sent, it was the wrong part. Customer service appears to be very slow in responding to emails and doesn't seem to answer the phone. Overall I am happy but I hope I hear back soon and can start grilling! I researched the brand name and decided to go with Napoleon based on their build quality and reputation.
Unfortunately there was a dented front panel and broken thermometer when we put the grill together. It's ridiculous that it takes 3 months for replacement parts. Never again.

Grill arrive packaged very well and protected. Instructions for assembly were easy to follow when watching the video. Overall a very nice grill and appears to be made very well.
Overall I am impressed with this grill. The cabinet was fairly simple to assemble. The fire box and burners were already assembled and only required mounting on the cabinet and connecting to a fuel source. The quick fire starters on each burner work very well. I was surprised how quickly the grill heats up - even when only using 3 burners and with the outside temp of 30F and a 15 to 25 mph breeze. Typical Jan weather in Central PA. We have a covered deck so grilling happens year round. We have only had it a few weeks but so far have only done some New York strips, burgers and brats. The grill did not seem bothered by the cold breezy conditions and had no problems with burners blowing out. Looking forward to some slightly warmer weather when we will test it out with a load of BBQ chicken.
Expect some shipping damage. A few of the pieces to be bent. Was able to bend most back into place for assembly. One door will not stay closed because of shipping damage. Otherwise assembly was reasonable and first couple of uses went well.

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. The freight process is a bit more complicated than what we've all come to expect for small parcels, so it's important that you're prepared and understand what's required of you well before delivery day.
- Most freight products ship on a pallet
- Some carriers will call to schedule a delivery window, while others will deliver the shipment to a reasonably accessible location closest to your residence (their goal is to deliver as near a garage door as they can).
- We'll specify which process you can expect in your shipping confirmation email.
For carriers that schedule delivery appointments:
Carriers that schedule delivery appointments require you to be home for delivery and provide your signature. The delivery is made with a semi-truck with lift gate services, and the shipment is dropped off at the curb. If you authorize the shipping company to leave the delivery without a signature, BBQGuys can't be held responsible for damages that occur during delivery. As complicated as this process may seem, we've only scratched the surface here — please review our detailed guide to freight delivery so there are no surprises when a freight shipment heads your way.
For carriers that deliver without an appointment:
Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
